I do not believe in outsourcing Facebook posts.
You know...those companies who email you every day offering to "do all of your social media" for you for a monthly fee?
Don't do it.
Just say "No".
I know you want to look like a real estate authority to your social media followers and coming up with unique content every day is hard work.
Sorry, I have no sympathy.
The solution is not hiring someone to write your script. The solution is to become the real authority you are portraying yourself to be to your followers.
After all, what's more authoritative than real authority?
You simply can't hire someone to be YOU better than YOU can be YOU.
It all started back in 1959 when Dr. Seuss wrote these words in his Happy Birthday children's book:
"Today You are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You."
It's critical that you resist the temptation of "turn-key" social media solutions. The authenticity of social media fails miserably when your message is delivered in someone else's voice.
It's fine to outsource a social branding strategy expert, a professional website developer, and a content topic curator but it's critically important to deliver on these media platforms a legitimate and genuine message in your voice.
I'm not saying you can't post news clips and links to real estate articles. You absolutely should do that.
But then, add your voice. Add your comments. Add your thoughts. Add your recommendations.
Be thoughtful as you write your words. Think about the hundreds and thousands of people who may eventually read them.
Your goal is to turn your FOLLOWERS into an AUDIENCE of people who are hungry to hear your words.
If you are telling yourself that you can't do this, you are telling yourself a lie.
You can do this.
And you can do it in your voice.
The only thing standing between you and effectively engaging with a social media audience is a well-thought strategy, compelling content, and your personal commitment to learning how to do it.
The internet is full of copycats.
We don't need another one.
I'm not only referring to Facebook...there are multiple social media platforms where you can build an audience. YouTube, Instagram, WhatsApp, Tumblr, WeChat, LinkedIn, Messenger, Tik Tok, Twitter, Reddit, Snap Chat, Pinterest, Telegram, Medium, and Quora are a few of the other popular platforms where your voice can be heard.
Find YOUR voice.
